International Talent Stay Skåne is an project that helps international masterstudents getting closer to the labour market in Malmö, by creating social settings that enhances their possibility to expand their network and get knowledge about the labour market landskape in Skåne and Malmö. The workshops focuses on international masterstudents, but are open to anyone. The projct is fincanced by the Region of Skåne, and is a collaboration amongst Drivhuset Malmö, Media Evolution, Malmö Stad and Malmö university.
Part 1 of this workshop series will help you identify their entrepreneurial competencies and learn how to translate their experiences into professional language that is attractive to the Swedish labour market.
Part 1 of 3 is called Malmö and the labour market: and will contain the following activities: Milena Milosalvjevic (City of Malmö) shares insights into local working conditions and her own journey into the Swedish labour market and research from their latest report. Louise Fredin (Drivhuset Malmö) will focus on the entrepreneurial competencies. After that the participants will get help to identify their personal strengths from their studies, previous work experience and/or leisure activities through the exercise “When have I already done this?” and translate these into concrete competencies.
