What happens when entrepreneurship doesn´t go according to the plan?
On 28 October, Drivhuset Malmö is hosting a Halloween-themed evening about the less glamorous side of entrepreneurship: failures, setbacks, uncertainty, mistakes, fears, and all the things that can go wrong when you try to build something of your own.
The purpose is to take some of the stigma out of failure and show that setbacks aren’t necessarily signs that you’re doing something wrong — they are often a natural part of the entrepreneurial journey.
Instead of only hearing about success stories, participants will get to hear honest stories about what went wrong, what was difficult, and what entrepreneurs learned from it.
The evening should feel relaxed, social, honest, slightly spooky, and fun — rather than like a traditional lecture or seminar.

Clara Sanz – In Malmö
Clara is the founder of In Malmö, a community with more than 20,000 followers that helps people discover Malmö and supports businesses in Malmö and Skåne with visibility and marketing.
Clara also has an interesting personal entrepreneurial journey: she came to Malmö as an international student and has since built a life, network, community, and business here.
Harald Nilsson – Simactis

Harald is the co-founder of tech company Simactis, which helps urban planners, consultants, and researchers simulate how people move and interact in cities.
Through their product Tapestry, Simactis creates detailed transportation network data to support the development of future cities.
Harald will share experiences from building a tech company, including challenges, setbacks, failures, and the lessons that came from them.
