International Talent Stay Skåne is an project that helps international masterstudents getting closer to the labour market in Malmö, by creating social settings that enhances their possibility to expand their network and get knowledge about the labour market landskape in Skåne and Malmö. The workshops focuses on international masterstudents, but are open to anyone. The projct is fincanced by the Region of Skåne, and is a collaboration amongst Drivhuset Malmö, Media Evolution, The City of Malmö and Malmö university.
Part 2 of this workshop-series will give you a practical understanding of how networking works in Sweden and how professional relationships can open doors to the hidden labour market.
Part 2 of 3 is called: ’Networking – the key to opportunities’ and will contain the following activities:
- Dare to Reach Out: Louise and Milena share their own experiences and provide tips on how to make contact, ask good questions and follow up.
- Your 30-second Introduction: Students formulate and practise a short personal introduction.
- Networking Planning: Introduction to local networking opportunities in Skåne (e.g. Media Evolution, NOMO), followed by the creation of a concrete plan identifying people, organisations and contexts to connect with.
